Mate for my GBR?

Hey everyone, it has been a LOOOOONG time since I have been on here! I have a 29g tank with a GBR and I am pondering getting a buddy for him/her. I think it is a female as she has a pink belly and her dorsal fins look like that of a female's ( two larger seperate spikes in the front.)

I want to get a mate for "her" but I am not sure how to tell sexes in the store, and if she will be cool with another ram in her tank. I have GWCs, neon tetras and albino cories as well that she leaves alone- but she did go after the cories until she got used to them.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, and how is everyone doing?

I have a school of GBR's...and what I was told was that it's good to have more females than males in a group to lessen fighting. The store I go to is a pretty good and reputable one, so I trust what they say. So what we did was get 2 males and 4 females. originally we were going to do 1 male and 2 females but we liked them enough to get more.
