Media bag question

I have a polyester mesh laundry bag I plan on using as a media bag, I'm sure it's safe to use in my filter but I want Second opinion on it.

Rinse it or soak it if nervous..
You must have a big filter !

Thank you, I just wanted to make sure. I'm going to cut it down to size when I fill it so I can make multiple bags if needed.

I got 3 media bags on Amazon for $4.00 (on sale), that bag should be fine just make sure it isn't fire resistant (not sure they are but just in case)

These bags are HUGE like double the size someone would need for say an aquaclear 110 (not the ones I bought) but theres 10 in this package
