medication safe for scale-less fish for internal parasites?

hi everyone,

can someone please recommend a good medication for internal parasites that is safe for scale-less fish?
I have metronidazole and it doesn't say anywhere on the package whether or not it is safe for scale-less fish.

What type of parasite and fish? I did a quick google on metronidazole, is it for fish or is that one of the ingredients in your medicine?
