HELP!

Background:
40gal tank, been up and running 5 months. 35lbs live rock, 15lbs lace rock base, 10lbs live sand over 10lbs regular sand. 110watts compact flourecent 2 bulb daylight, 2 bulb actinic.

1 yellow tang, 1 citron goby, 1 neon cleaner goby, 1 tomato clown

2 anemones (both bubble tip)

6 stalks Xenia, ~6 purple mushroom polyps, large orange button polyp.

5 turbo snails, 3 Nassarius snails, 5 blue leg hermits, 5 scarlet, 1 halloween, 1 emerald crab, 1 flame scallop.

Problem: My wife over-fed for a week while I was gone... ALGAE GO BOOM! I did a 10 gallon water change and put a phospate sponge in. The algae still comes back on the glass in a couple hours.

Any thoughts...

Hve you done a phosphate Test? What are you useing to absorb the phosphate? What are all tank specs? (water test)
