I really like small gouramis and cichlids (like dwarf gouramis, ram and apistogramma cichlids) and was wondering, with lots of hides so they can escape any aggression, would a mix of them together in a community tank work? I know cichlids are more aggressive when breeding so don't plan on buying pairs, just one of each species. Also maybe a few killifish and some bottom dwellers like cories or small species of pleco? With a ton of caves, plants, and places to hide would this work in like a 29 gallon or would they all just fight each other?
