Well after adding my new quad t5 unit my polyps started growing. Well now I think its aiptasia. The disc is a dark green which I've never seen on aiptasia. so any help would be great.

I don't suggest poking at apitasia. When threatened they will retract and also release spores that reproduce somewhere else in ur tank. I've been chasing these guys around my tank with apitasiax for about 6 months every 2 weeks I zap another few
