So, is it safe to go swimming with them? Like they won't bite at you, and you won't (for lack of better vocabulary) leach chemicals into the water? Ie:deodorant, after shave, soaps?
Yes swimming with them would be great but you need to remember like you said stuff on your body but the main thing you would need to drain 25% of the tank water or it will overflow
I don't never do water changes as if I did drain 25% the weirs pumps and sump would run dry
I have a over flow pipe in my sump so 200 gal per day pumps into the main tank and the waist drains from the overflow into the main drain
In 3 years since the tank has been set up I have not done one water change by hand
The rays kick up all the dirt so no need to gravel clean
