Well as the title says this is the beginning of my journey into saltwater with the BioCube. Have had it for a couple weeks but just finished setting it up and getting water in it. I went back and forth if I should buy a stand or use the expensive end table I already had. After much looking at all the LFS I decided that my end table was made with better material and thicker wood and not particle board. The cube fits perfect on it with an inch all around which is we're the supports are. In the picture you can see that I cut some 2by4 pieces for extra support in the middle. Dont really think it needed it but I'm a little OCD so it can't hurt. Just need to stain them to match now.

Well as you can see it is cloudy from the sand and water. I have 30 pounds of live sand and a mix of live rock and base rock. I put a korila 425 pump in and am going to order another one and maybe the controller. But first I am getting the inTank media basket. I removed the false floors and the little piece for better flow. I will post some more pics when the tank clears to get some thoughts on my aquascape. Also feel free to give me any advice as I am new to this.
Thanks for looking Dan
