My first test results (Finally!)

I used a pack of AA batteries so that you can get an idea of the size

That's it. That's what goes on the bottom. You never throw it away. Just squeeze it out good in old tank water or dechlorinated tap water and put back in.

For the middle can I use that aswell or do I need the black cut to fit pad?

No. Don't use two of the thick foam. It would slow your flow down too much. Just above the foam you use the cut to fit. Does the box the filter came in not have any instructions?? OS.

Could I use the pads for an elite filter? They are black and a lot thinner, almost 1 cm thick or there about
