Came home this afternoon and my GBT was looking worse than ever. It was still attached to the rock but just brown and totally deflated. (not falling apart though) What was more troubling, was that my skimmer was going crazy. Fearing that my bubble tip was giving off some kind of toxins in the water, I removed it from the rock ( quite easily ) and put it in a separate container. I then did a large water change just in case. My skimmer calmed down after that. The funny thing is, it attached its foot to the bottom of the container I put it in so I'm assuming it's still alive though looking pretty bad. I don't want to just toss it thinking that it might still be alive but, I really don't know what else to do at this point.

Not sure on your back story, but It was very likely just doing a water change. They deflate for a short period of time occasionally.
