My new freshwater tank project

Ok so I have another question.
If I had my tank with only a slight bit of water in it, like less than a cup and me and someone else were lifting it and it wasn't totally level, would water normally leak from a tank.
It doesn't leak when it is on a flat and level surface, but when we lift it up to carry it up the stairs the water drips out of it.

Totally in a pickle here, please help if anyone knows an answer

That does not sound good, Are you are sure there is not water on the outside of the tank? I would not fill or use the tank in my house.

Ye I have checked it 10 times and it's definitely a leak. Called the guy and he tells me he will be over tomorrow with the cash, so hopefully he isn't bsing me.
And I shall be on the lookout for another tank I guess

Wow, an actual nice person out there.
Gave me my cash back, let me keep everything and is giving me some black Moscow guppies what ever they are when his fry gets to a better size.

Now to go find a new tank!!
