Hi fellow fish lovers,
I am Rizzy, and I have recently rescued a peppered cory from a family who no longer wants it. My children and I are very excited to be part of the fish family and we would like to learn more about how to care for this beautiful catfish.
We have had our Cory for 6 days now and 2 days ago it started acting funny. and seems to have buoyancy issues. We also had another three Neon tetra and one of them died the day before my Cory started acting weird. It has been floating upright in our tank and also sometimes lays on its side belly up on the bottom of the tank.
Is he sick? could it be a bladder infection?
We give him bottom feeder pallets feed on and the other fish get flakes.
Our tank is small 30cm in width by 36 cm in length. We are in the process of getting a bigger tank.
