My platy fry have pointed tails! Help?!

My 3 platy fry are almost 4 months old. I noticed about 2 days ago that 2 of them have a pointed tail! My biggest one has the worst one its shaped like a pencil point! And my smallest one (which also has a curved spine) is getting to that point but he has a more rectangular tail. I don't know how this happened. I do water changes weekly (sometimes bi weekly depending on my schedule) I have them in the breeder box separate from the bigger fish I always take out uneaten food. I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I tested my water and beside the ph being a bit high as it always is (7.5 so it's not that high) there's nothing im doing differently..what could be causing this and can I do anything to help them? Also is this contagious? Should I move my 3rd healthy fry into another breeder box then?

Could it be that their fins are clamped? Or maybe that's just a normal tail type?

2nd update: smallest fry died yesterday. So I'm down to just one lone fry and I still have no answers to what may have caused this..no Bueno ?

It looks like it might have been a genetic disorder due to inbreeding. Just my guess. I'm very sorry.

Yup it's all genetic, how many times have you inbred these fish, without crossing them back to their parents?
