My pleco is eating the cuttlebone

Should I tell him to knock it off? Will it hurt him? It’s for the golden mystery snail.
 
If he has driftwood to rasp on then he is just choosing his likes..
If he doesn't have wood he needs it.
The cuttlebone should cause no trouble IMO.
 
Thanks, guess we are good then. Like all my fish, he’s spoiled. Has wood 27x7, zucchini every other day, algae wafers every other day, algae on the back wall 24x7, and of coarse fish food that hit the bottom, before I gravel vacuum it up every 4th day.
 
Just put in some spinach...waiting patiently to see what happens before lights out at 7pm
