Dose anyone know if they will eat my plants???

They certainly eat mine if I don't feed them regularly. Ramshorns and ponds are fine without you feeding them, but my mysteries certainly need food or else they go munching my wisteria.

Live plants are not a Mystery Snail's (Pomacea difusa) prefered food. They might nibble plants a bit now and then, but they prefer softer food like dead, dying rotting plants, and the biofilm and algae on the plants, leftover fish food, algae wafers. Even a human, left with nothing else to eat, would eat houseplants. :)

However, a Pomacea canaliculata (the 4 inch Apple snails), sometimes sold as a Pomacea difusa, will completely devour all aquarium plants.

Ok thanx. cat here's another question for you. Do you think in assassins snails would be able to eat for those big bulldozer mystery snails?
