Has anyone ever named their fish and then they die? I'm afraid to name my fish and they end up sick or dead.

I had a community tank with 11 fish, named all of them, only 5 lived. I really only remember the name for my dwarf gourami (his name is bob). Feel free to name your fish, you will really only remember the names you put thought into. You can spend hours naming neon tetras zippy and bubbles and all that but you won't grow more attached to them because of a name.

I name all of my fish. If they die, yeah it sucks, but as long as you take the best care of them possible, then you can be happy with yourself.

Our six year-old names most of our fish, and she would be the most devastated if any of them die.

We've had very few deaths, and I do my very best to keep it that way.

Current inhabitants include;
Anna
Bluey
Coral
Elsa
Fast Sparkles
Fishy
Friendy Friend
Glowy
Pattern
Silvery
Snaily
Stripey
Stubby
Sunny
Urbana
Vanilla Snail

We've also sold some guppy fry. We don't name the fry anymore.
