Nano Heterandria Formosa Tank

I hope that I am posting in the right place. I want to start a nano Heterandria Formosa tank . I have physical limitations that prevent me from having anything larger than a two gallon. I plan to buy just males to prevent breeding. My question is; will they get along without females? I want to obtain six and no more.

The setup is fine. I've breed these for about 5 years. Not sure why I continue as I never sell any and have hundreds. They are neat little fish beautiful in their ow way.
