need help stocking plz

hey everyone, I finished fishless cycling my 55 gal tank about a month ago and added 8 tiger barbs. I want to add more fish, but I'm not really sure what will work well with them. The tank looks crazy empty with just the 8 barbs

I wanted to add 3-5 yoyo loaches or cory's

a pleco that won't get too big

1 rainbow shark

and would like to add one larger fish as a centerpiece, but have no idea what to add. Will a blood parrot or any type of cichlid work?

open to any suggestions (don't really know much about stocking yet)

That sounds like it should be nice it looks like you are going semi aggressive. For a stocking you should do

8 Tiger Barbs
1 bristlenose pleco or clown pleco you need driftwood for these species
1 rainbow shark
1 Firemouth Cichlid or 1 Convict Cichlid
4 yoyo loaches

I would add the loaches next then the shark and the cichlids last also make sure to have at least 4 caves and the driftwood.

when I was looking at a semi aggressive I thought these guys were fun:
african featherfin catfish
leporinus fasciatus

also could do zebra loaches or yoyo loaches. i have the polka dot loaches and love these guys! they are great!

I like the red tail shark - can only do one of these

I would defiantly do the loaches and the red tailed shark I have both
