sorry was the best pic i could get...i have no idea what this is or if it's good or bad
 
Without a better/closer picture it's hard to tell. But my guess is that it is a sponge. Harmless filter feeders. They come and go as nutrients in your tank present themselves. Nothing to worry about, so far. But if you'd like to know exactly what it is, try and zoom in to get a closer more detailed picture. Still, it looks like a sponge.
 
Thanks, that's what i thought it may be....that was the best pic i was able to get of it.
 
I agree. you will see lots of them if you look on your rocks. They usually don't like light so they will be on the underside of rocks or in shaded areas. Great filter feeders.
