Need snail ID (pic)

This snail came on my LR from LR.com. It moves so rarely that I often wonder if it's dead but it occassionally moves around. I've taken many pics but can't get one that makes it obvious what it looks like.

maybe a conch. That is a very strangely shaped snail. I'm sure one of the advisors will know.

I've looked all over the internet at pics of snails and have yet to see any like this one. I don't know how it survives since it moves so infrequently.

looks like a clam or mussle with something growing on it
