Neon tetra with half a tail

I just noticed my smallest neon tetra has the top half of his tail completely gone. My only fish are 8 neon tetras, 4 platy, and a blue ram, so I'm thinking the ram just got a little aggressive (?). The tetra doesn't seem to be in pain, he is swimming and eating normally. Will treating with Melafix work out ok?

Yeah, Melafix should work. Are you gonna put him in a hospital tank?

Unfortunately the only tank I have set up is the one he is in now, so no. :/
