I'm open to any suggestions on what to do next on my tank

I just put it in today and was thinking about getting some CO2 booster would that work?

I added the black background and got the CO2 booster and added some more gravel and got these white stones ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1396802251.022502.jpgImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1396802294.546556.jpg

If you want DHG to carpet pull it all back out of your tank and separate it more. It will take ages to carpet how you have it. Oh and DHG needs high light levels. If you have a standard lighting hood then i think you may struggle to grow it

I have a daylight/blue light 6" 10watt fluorescent bulb is that good enough ? And it is so hard to separate the grass do have to really rip it apart with a lot of force?

Im not an expert on lighting but im 95% sure that light is nowhere near good enough for your hairgrass. Stranger things have happened though

Scissors might help you separate it but if your not confident then probably best leave it how it is

We'll I am getting a light in the mail it is Zoo Med UL-CF1 Mini Daylight Ultra Sun Compact Fluorescent

We'll I got a 29g tank now so I'm moving my Molly and platy there and I can't wait to get some driftwood and new plantsImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1397527668.933238.jpg
