i really like the fx5, i read alot about and how quiet it is... they were right, it doesnt make much noise. especially when i close the doors on the stand.. It feels good to be back into the hobby... I hope that my pics can help other people for different ideas of the setup and the stand that i built for it also.... Pat:BIG:

these pics have a few less bubbles hahaha ... enjoy....

thanks, i bought all the aquarium equipement at my local pet store, and as far as the stand goes well i made all of it with my own hands..it came out pretty good, and is holding all that weight up ouffff...... hahaha its nice to sit down and look at the whole setup. i really enjoy it...

You built that stand?

Very nice!

Was looking at the FX5. I am leaning towards the Eheim Pro III. Read some reviews. I am partial to the Eheims only because I have one already.
Keep the pics coming!

Here I posted some stand re-inforcement pics of my old ratty stand, LOL, and you built your own.

All good, I am proud still.
But good on you.

Nice stand. Never thought about using MDF (looks like it was). Must weight a ton. The doors turned out extremely well.
