New Blue Crayfish- PICS

I went and picked up my blue crayfish this morning- YAAAAAAY! He acclimated for an hour, and then immediately went into the clay pot. Anyway, here are some not-so-good pics:

My BF has named him Pinchy, as was Homer's lobster in that one episode of The Simpsons...

Thanks guys! I'll try to get some more pics later, but Pinchy is pretty skittish right now and has been spending a lot of time in the pot. He did, however, REALLY rearrange the gravel last night. Oh well- QTOFFER did warn me about that!

Of course they are, I can't have him clogging up his filter. I hope he doesn't tear up silk plants too badly. I didn't feed last night because I thought Pinchy could use some time to settle in first, but I will be sure to pick up some shrimp pellets. Will Pinchy eat algae wafers at all? Can you recommend any other kinds of food I should have? TIA

Pretty much anything that you can get to sink. Do avoid fresh or frozen shrimp because there are some diseases that can be transmitted by them. Shrimp pellets are OK since they're processed.

The real question is what WON'T Pinchy eat!
