New but used tank, just starting

I have received a 50 g tank from my inlaws, used for many years but recently dormant for ~2 yrs. I preliminarily wahsed it out w/a dilute bleach sol'n.

What are the recommendations for a final cleaning before proceeding?

As long as teh tank was relatively clean, that should be enough. Maybe once more over with the dilluted bleach, then flush heavily with water.

Welcome to AA! I would just finish rinsing with warm warm and then some dechlorinator to make sure all the bleach residue is gone.
