I know I said make a cave for him but I still thought it was a death sentence even then.

Yea but I figured if I did make a cave for him itll be fine! or he can make his own! I dont see him being killed but rather him snapping at fins! ill try it but itll be a challenge yes I know...

synodontis Angelicus is really cool and yea kinda costly $45-$65... Im still going to keep that one in mind. Does anyone else know of any cool cats? Also heres some pics of whats worth keeping as far as the aquascape. Although none of this will be going in this aquarium I just wanted to show you what I got with it. Also that really cool looking piece of what looks like some kind of rock but is somewhat a white but it doesnt look like live rock but it could be and it weighs literally like 25 pounds. Does anyone know exactly what it is? second photo, top right.

That's a cool rock.

Your materials look alright. Is that wood used? Has it leeched out already? Fresh wood would leech tannins and acids into the water lowering pH which fish from lake malawi would not appreciate.

Yes the wood is used and none of this will be going into this aquarium. The wood I plan on useing in a planted.

Okay so I got $150 dollars for stocking this tank plus I get the fish for the price we pay at work (no mark up) Tommarow Im going to order 14 females and 2 males. I am getting more than I need just in case. Also I want a female for my other tank! I wont get the crayfish unless hes hella cheap but I doubt that. And I will probably order 1 or 2 of those cats! so far the stock list is:

And Here is an update applying to the aquarium itself. First let me explain what we had before, what we canged, and then some pictures. On the other side of the wall that the aquarium is on ( ugly red wall ), is the stairs down to the basement. We layed a floor down ontop of the stairs, so pretty much those stairs are useless, but there is still basement access from outside. Anyways so now those stairs gave been altered into a small room on the otherside of the aquarium, Cool right?! Now in that room, on the aquarium wall ( oppisite side ) , we cut out a spot for the stand to face in that new little room. Also a spot for the aquarium. So great now you got this little room with this aquarium that will never be seen right...? Wrong! this is totally awsome!!! We cut a viewing hole out of the ugly red wall so you can see the glass only!!!!!!! check it out!!! Im so excited!!!

Synodontis. And nothing else. Demasoni are insane murdering mad-men. Don't risk any other bottom feeders with them.

Also. What are some major differences between male and female dems? size, aggressiveness, body pattern, color? I know that the appearance have little to no differences but anything would be nice!
