New Fluval Sea 13.5 Evo ... ok for any fresh water plants?
So it's been about 10 years since I've kept a tank. Going to start small with a Fluval Sea 13.5 Evo, that will fit nicely on my oversized office desk.
Was considering a salt tank, but going to stay with fresh for a while. I thought it made sense to buy a salt capable tank, which would give me the option to go salt down the road.
Question: is there a certain type of FW plant that would do well with the "saltwater" lighting that comes with the Fluval Evo?
Is the stock lighting on the Fluval Evo going to promote more algae growth than FW lighting would?
I'm not 100% sure I have to have a planted tank at this point, but if the tank will support a certain type of plant, then I will give it a shot.
