Am a new member as of today (1/28/17). Have kept a non-planted freshwater tank in the past. Now I want a lushly planted tank with community fish. Will be using pressurized CO2 in my soon-to-come 75 gal. tank.
I plan to use the fishless cycling method using ammonia. Here are my questions:
1. Can I plant the tank, to whatever degree I want, while cycling and then add fish shortly after the cycling has been completed? or...
2. Should I add a small amount of fish first and then plant?
In other words, plants first or fish first?
Thanks for you help in advance and excuse me for not using "search." Couldn't think of how to express this in a few words.
