New Nano Cube sand or coral?

I have a 24 gallon nano. I am changing from fresh water to salt water. I have the salt water set up and tested. I don't know if I should use live sand or crushed coral or a mixture to the tank for the next step. I am planning on getting the live rock next. Can someone tell me what sand and/or coral to start with?

I would just go with live sand or regular sand that will become live over time

Agreed. Larger sized sand, like crushed coral can trap nitrates and if you want gobies or nassarius snails there's no way they could sift through that.
