Hello all, my old tank has suddenly started leaking, so I've decided to get another tank, I'm getting second hand off eBay and a fluval profile 850, the seller isn't selling the external filter with it and I've noticed that it's got the filter holes for the external on the bottom will I have to get a external or is there a way to block the wholes?

Not sure if you can block the holes, but if your old tank is glass you CAN reseal it. Just google "fix a leaking aquarium" and I'm sure you'll get tons of hits. It's actually very simple as long as the glass itself is not cracked. Then it will be good as new :)

I did look it up but I don't have the time nor the space to empty the whole take, I went from a 10 gal to a 55gal and I've been doing water changes using a 20 litre bucket, and my tanks on the second floor
