I am 67 years old and live in Eatonton, GA. Retired from ATT in 1998. Started a computer service in 1999. Had a Heart Attack and stroke 1/16/2001. Had to go on disability.
Although I'm new on this forum I bought my first 29 gallon (29 gal = 110 L) (29 gal (29 gal = 110 L) = 110 L (110 L = 29.1 gal)) aquarium in 1968. Accumulated five in a mobile home.
In 1978 my son started playing with the equipment killing all my fish, Sold everything, missed it for years.
Wonderful wife bought me a 75 gallon (75 gal = 284 L) (75 gal (75 gal = 284 L) = 284 L (284 L = 75 gal)) outfit for our anniversary in 1988 which keep me happy until 2010 when we had to relocate. Sold everything, dummy, missed it.
December 2013 I received a small inheritance used it to begin setting up a heavily planted 180 gallon (180 gal = 681 L) (180 gal (180 gal = 681 L) = 681 L (681 L = 180 gal)). For the first time there was enough money to go with better stuff.
Yesterday we bought two 29 gallon (29 gal = 110 L) (29 gal (29 gal = 110 L) = 110 L (110 L = 29.1 gal)) tanks to use as nurseries. One for our daughter's baby platys the other for the fry of my rainbow chiclids. Also a 20L (20 L = 5.28 gal) (20 L (20 L = 5.28 gal) = 5.28 gal (5.28 gal = 20 L)) for a spare.
Glad to be here and need all the help you can give me. Although I've made most of the mistakes at least once there seems to be an endless supply,
Thanks for your help.......David
