New to Hobby need HElP

Ok guys let see if you guys can help me out with this I have a 55 gallon saltwater tank with LR that is 2 weeks into cycle. Now this is where i ran into a little stump must i say my water currently has like a yellow tint on it I have no lights on the tank and only running filter and one power head. Also this just started to happen i notice that when I place my phone flashlight on the side of my tank i see ALOT of white particles in the tank I am just wondering what the heck is that you cant see them unles you place a light to the side of the tank. I will post pic I am looking for a solution to the yellowing of the water and a answer for the white particles I just order a protien skimmer for more filtration.
Also i just changed the carbon on my filter to see if it will help.

So you have no filtration? Carbon should take care of the yellowing problem. Depends what type it is/how much you're using.
