Bought a 55 gallon tank that had been set up before all live plants. It seems like in the last couple of weeks the tank is starting to get an excess of algae. I have 3 bristle nose plecos in the tank but dont seem like they do much good any ideas of what to do to help

Light comes on at 9am until 9pm. I have tried cutting light hours bit did not help. I know that it is on my basement with lots of windows that let very little light in. And none directly on the tank they are north facing

They are T5 one is a color max and the other is 6700k. The algae looks like little hairs that hang off of a lot of plants not like clumps of hair but stands of hair
