Hi all
Ive been reading postrs on here for a little while and thought it was about time I say hello....sooo Hello from Long Island.
I have a 90 gal Malawi cichlid tank. Sand substrate. It completed cycling in March and has been up and running with no problems since.
There isn't a ton of rocks in it but enought that the labs are mostly happy. I just ordered some cichhid stones that I'll be stacking on the opposite end from the rocks. This will hopefully chill the attitude of the apparent alpha male a bit. haha
It it stocked with all juvies so sex id is still pretty much up in the air...lol
7 blue ahli
2 blue moorii
2 giaraffe
2 booreli
8 yellow labs
1 common pleco
and 3 unknown type of peacock
Im running a 30 gal sump underneath as the primary filtration and also have a powerhead with quick filter that I turn on when I need it. I built a small refugium into the sump which right now only has some crushed coral in it.
I'll post pics soon as I figure out how
