Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Hello all, just to say hello and say I'm new to forums etc.
I have been keeping a marine tank for about 7-8 years, it was fish only with LR for years, just recently I have been getting into coral and making my nano tank (20 gallons) into a nano reef.
My tank is a river reef 94 modded,
I remover the original t5 lights and fitted a aqua ray tile with controller (absolutely brilliant lighting very impressed) after I had removed the original lighting I was able to cut a hole in the lid for a tunze 9002. I'm not using the original filter system that is built into the back on the tanks, instead I'm using a canister filter with built in uv, running live rock rubble, matrix, purigen & rowaphos.
Live stock -
1 maroon clown (red/yellow)
2 red leg hermits
5 turbo snails
2 conchs
1 cleaner shrimp
1 blood shrimp
1 tube/fan worm
Corals -
tricolor lobophyllia
Candy cane (5 headed frag)
Aussie torch
Blue mushroom
Toadstool
I think that's about everything to introduce myself and tank. I look forward to using this site for seeking advice and possibly giving a little advice if I can.
