Oh I thought you were going to say 55g. Just keep up the water changes and that will keep the nitrates down. The tetras will have died during the cycle.

The green plant in the middle is something called tears.. Can't remember the full name.. So my levels of 5 is ok ? Thank you for your help
 
Baby tears yeah that's in the middle at the back, it's the one in the pot nearer the front middle.

Don't try to raise nitrates, keep them between 5-10ppm if you can.

Keep PO4 <1 ppm.


It's possible your plants consume nitrates... My heavy planted tank nitrates are always <10ppm... I dose Seachem Nitrogen as N supplement.
 
Thank you. Really want a couple of endlers as I love the look of them.. Just need to find some as not sold in my area
