Novice in South Yorkshire

Hello all, I'm in my 60s and have never had anything to do with fish until I moved into my new house & inherited a stocked fish tank left behind by previous owners. I have a lot of learning to do & am hoping to get some good advice from this community. I'm looking forward to reading your words of wisdom

In particular i would research the nitrogen cycle and how to cycle a tank. This is where most newcomers fall down.

South yorkshire? Sheffieldish? Well worth a trip to M1 J28, Wharf Aquatics at Pinxton.
