Any one have any odd behaviors they have observed from their old fish?

I have a 2 year old female Danio who constantly swims in circles. Like she is neurological always to the left. At first I thought it was stress because she was one of two danios in a 55g. So I got four more. She still swims in her circles in the back corner of the tank.

I have a pair of golden tetras I purchased in 2007. Yes, 8 years old. Bought 6, only 2 left. They act about the same though one has a slightly upward curved spine. Was going to trade them in at the LFS but I'm attached to them.

She is the last of our three first fish ever, when we joined the hobby. She has survived our learning curve and fish in cycling, she and her brother-husbands are the reasons we bought the 180g. "Oh, this 29tall just seems too small for such active fish. Why not get them something bigger?" "Look a 180g on Craig's list for $300"
Hahaha a $.99 fish got a $300 tank!

It's hard to turn in fish when you've had them so long. Right?
