I have a tiny jar of Top Fin Betta Bits i bought a whole year ago.. Feb 2011... For another betta. I havent used them very much but it's sat opened for 13 mths. Expiration is not on there.. Also have Top Fin Freeze-Dried bloodworms open same amount of time expire March 2014....
I bought the Top Fin before I knew anything about food quality... I feed Omega One to my communities, including my female betta who is in one of those communities...
Question is.. Should I ditch the food? If not for poorer quality to begin with but because it sat open?
AND... what pellet should I buy to feed my new betta in my 10g?
I like omega one... But "small pellets" are too big for my mollies even... I DO have a full container of that. Do they make a betta sized pellet or can I just crush the larger pellets I already have?
I want healthy and fresh...
