Do you get to see the fish before they ship, or you just get what they send you?

No there is no visual inspection prior to shipping, but I will state I've ordered many times without being disappointed. Their customer service is certainly one of the best in the industry IMO.

You don't see the fish. You can put in requests when you order (as far as requesting more females etc) but then only promise best effort.

I have had good experiences with their livestock and bad experiences with livestock from them (which were exacerbated by my own laziness in not having a quarantine tank I must admit).

But their customer service has always been top notch.

On top of worrying about all the fish in the tank getting along, I am a very visual person. Some of the fish I want to put in my tank vary a lot in terms of patterns and colors so I'm just trying to figure out if their would be a way to see what theyre going to send me.
