After six months and one major disaster it is finally starting to look like an aquarium and not just rocks in the bottom of a tank. Thought I would share. Thanks for all your help!!!!!!

WOW! Very nice. How long have you had that scallop?

Thank you. I actually have two, the other one is in a deep cave that flows through, he is on the ceiling of the cave. I have had them about 3 weeks.

Thanks
No, it was sent with my Tampa Bay LR as an extra. He told me it was a Florida cup sponge and it is actually a little oranger than that picture makes it look.

Thanks all,
Yeah Kurt, I need to update you. I did finally get that copper test kit in and somehow we did have copper in our tank. Not sure if the trough was the culpret or not. ( I think it was a rock from Petco, they treat ich with copper) That is why only the snails and shrimp were dying. We used all of the things you all suggested and it got all of the copper out (polly filter). copper tests 0 now and everything is doing great. I did just add in the last couple of days a new Scott's fairy wrasser, cooks island. I will try to get some pics soon. He is beautiful. Since my scallop and coco worm have been doing so well for almost a month now I am thinking about a clam next, maybe in a month or two. Any suggestions on what kind?

Between my Petco mass adoption and my two new purchases I thought it is already time for an update. Lots of stuff in a short time due to the adoption of 1 fish 1 urchin 2 hermit crad and 12 different coral! I doubled my coral over night. The day before the unplanned adoption I had purchased my first clam and sea fan. My tank has really seen some changes and is looking pretty cool. I also wanted you to see my husbands display refugium (about 20 gal). It really adds volume to our amount of water plus we have 20 gal sump (unpictured). So were guessing be have about 110-120 gallons of water volume for a 72 gal bow front.
