I have a 20 gallon relatively planted tank with 8 neon tetras, 3 fancy guppies, 2 siamese algae eaters, 5 amano shrimp, 1 bamboo shrimp, 6 blue velvet shrimp, and 20 or so rcs. everything seems healthy, the only casualties were a few rcs after some of them got sick.
considering the population is mostly shrimp, i was going to add more fish, specifically a few corries, and ember tetras. is this too much? currently the majority of the water column is empty as the tetras swim around the bottom of the tank and the guppies hang around the top. the algae eaters hang around the bottom/middle, but there're only 2 of them.
