alright so i just added my salt, that i had mixed and let settle overnight, but my tank is now just a cloudy mess. should i keep on circulation or should i turn it off? will it just dissolve in a few hours? thanks

but will it help if i turn the circulation off?
Of course it will help it "settle" ,once you turn your pumps back on its going to stir up all kinds of mess...Let it clear up as a working running system ,not as a standing box of water...It needs to clear up the way the system is going to be
Hope that makes sense.

yeah that makes sense. when should i get live rock, the specific gravity is good and same with everything else, maybe i should wait on it. but i now have everything running, filter and powerhead

I added my live rock 1 week after I added the saltwater/sand. Word of warning as soon as ya add your live rock your skimmer will go crazy. Once ya added the live rock you MUST!!!!!! wait about 2 weeks to a month before adding ANYTHING.
