Recently my phosphate levels went through the roof, why is what really made me mad. Ok so my local fish store had been selling me bad water for probably a month before I realized it, I talked to them about it and told them hey my phosphate levels are reading as high as they go wtf did y'all do I certainly havnt done anything different. She tells me that their RO pump quit working and they have the same problem!!! Makes me so mad they kept selling water! Anyways I bought some Phosguard and ran it for 4 days and it went from a 10-10+ down to a 5, then I changed the media for round 2 now it's on day 3 out of 4 and dropped to 2.0 and I also did 2 20% water changes. It's holding steady at 2.0 ppms now so I called sea chem and the lady on the phone said it takes longer the less phosphate there is to extract, does anyone have any luck with Phosguard what are your opinions or advice? Thanks
