Picking up some seeding material

I started cycling my tank this past Saturday (so 3 days now). My friend has a 125 well established tank he's letting me come get some substrate and his biofilter cylinders to seed my tank to speed up the process.

It's about a 20 minute drive. I imagine I can just take some water from my current tank and set the substrate and filters into it for the drive? So the BB doesn't die?

Yes, perfect. Any dechlorinated water will do.

I'll grab a gallon or a small bucket full and just saran wrap the top lol!
