Picky Eater, Aztec Cichlid

I am the only one that seems to have a really finicky eater in a female adult cichlid?

This beautiful yet feisty cichlid will only eat live food, and even then not everything. I am definitely having a chore getting her to eat any greenery let alone regular protein. Man, I hvae cats that were less finicky.

This is not all that unusual. Certain cichlids will turn their nose up at one food when another is fed too often. Try fasting for a day or two. You just may find your cichlid eating what you provide.
