Convicts laid eggs last night....they never last though.

Thanks. I have 2 breeding pair. The fry never survive...I know convicts don't eat their young. Seems the can't fight off the Texas cichlids or the other convicts.
 
Female convicts do not have the stripes correct?? I am wondering. Very pretty fish. How big do they get?

Regular female convicts have stripes. What you see in the picture is a pink convict and a regular convict.

Males tend to get 5-6", whereas females tend to get 3-4"
 
Black convicts male and female are stripped. Pink convicts both male and female are not stripped.
