Nice (low-tech?) aqua for the livebearers indeed!

150 gallon cube. Took out the overflows after a reseal. Found the wood by the river. Just got 50 assorted plants. 2 current USA freshwater plus lights. Fluval FX5.
I have 3 dollar sunfish, 20 rosy red minnows, a Raphael cat, 2 synodontis cats, a rainbow shark and 7 giant danios to put in after the cycle.

Best of luck with the Raphael cat. I got rid of mine because it hid in a rock 24/7.

I have had the Raphael for 3 years, and I agree that unless you throw algae wafers in at 4am, you won't see him!!

It's a pretty fish but I like fish I can come home from work and see. Not something that hides all the time.
