Pink Hair Algae?

I joined this site because I can’t find an answer to what is in my tank. It’s pink, overwhelming, seems like algae but is more like slime. I’ve removed it as much as I could 3 times now, and it’s back like this within a week. I’ll be honest, my tanks levels are probably way out of where they should be. They usually are. I work ridiculous hours and don’t give my tanks as much TLC as I used to and want to. That being said, I just need to know what this most likely is (it’s not in my other 30 gallon tank), and suggestions for how to get rid of it. Thanks!
