plant I.D.

Does anyone happen to know what plant this is in the foreground?
I have people telling me 3 different things and would like some more experienced opinions.

If it's any help this particular plant closes its leaves at night and within an hour of turning the lights back on its open again. It also looks like it reproduces by sending out runners. It's one of my favorites and when i first got it there were only a few little 1/2" plantlets, thats why i planted it in the foreground. I didn't know it was gonna take off like a rocket in just a few weeks lol!

Thanks jetajockey. It sure looks like it. I'll have too google that and see if the rotala closes and opens like mine does.
